Fashion  1990's Face Mask with Drape

This item was made for The Fifth Element and is designed by Jean Paul Gautier and was worn by the Opera Singer’s Entourage.
This is a mask combined with a headdress and an over-robe. The shaped mask section is made of molded blocking net (a product is used in millinery) and the mask/headdress section is decorated with stiffened lace, jeweled sections, gold fringing and painted wooden and plastic quill shapes.
There are drapes hanging down form the front and back of the mask, these hang and create an over robe; both drapes are translucent the front one is plain black and the back one has been splattered with bleach to create a random pattern.
