This Guy Laroche cocktail dress is a stunning deep cerise fabric; as this item is from the mid to late 1980’s it has the obligatory shoulder pads fitted (although they are not enormous!). The neckline has been made into a real feature, it has been cut into a sweetheart shape and there are pleats radiating from the neckline.
Fitted into the dress is a lightly boned a bustier, this does up at the back; this gives a structured undergarment below the pleated section allowing the dress to hang and move as designed.
