Are the items authenticated?

All items listed on AsWornIn.com are taken from the Angels costume stock and were sent out onto film sets by Angels.  Where possible we at AsWornIn.com have carried out extensice researche including the use of footage and film stills to to identify precisely the item.  We have also used professional experts to assist in identifying and authenticating the items. 

What proof of authentication will I receive?

Every item sold is issued with a certificate, signed by the Chairman of Angels, verifying that the item was sent out on the given film from Angels stock.  The certificate is further authenticated with the Angel’s embossed seal.

How often is the site updated?

Angels has 6 miles of costume rails and has been in business since 1840.  There are literally millions of items of clothing in the warehouse and memorable items are being unearthed daily.  Angels is one of the leading costumiers to the entertainment industry and is constantly making new items for productions worldwide.  New items are being added to our site regularly so it is worth keeping an eye on the website.

What if I can’t find an item I am looking for?

It is impossible to list every Film, TV or Theatre Production for which Angels has supplied costumes.  If there are items from a specific production that you would like to track down please email us at info@aswornin.com and if it is from a production costumed by Angels we will endeavour to locate the item you are after.

How can I buy an item from your website?

Once you have found an item you are interested in:

• Add the selected item to basket and it will be held there until paid for (Warning: This does not remove from sale to other customers).
• To see what is in the basket at any time just click ‘Show Basket’ which will be on the left hand side of the screen. 
• When finished browsing go to the basket and if you are a customer within the UK click ‘checkout’.
• Register your details and then you will be taken to the PayPal website to finalise payment.

What if I live outside the UK?

Follow the same process as above but before clicking ‘checkout’ please follow the link for ‘international orders’ and provide us with the relevant information.  Once you have provided the required information procede through checkout to ensure your item is not purchased by anyone else.  We will endeavour to contact you within 2 working days with the additional shipping charges.

How much is shipping?

For deliveries within the UK all prices include shipping and VAT.  For all deliveries outside the UK the charges are dependant on weight, size and country of delivery.  We quote on an individual basis.

When I go through to PayPal why does it say Morris Angel and Son Limited?

AsWornIn is powered by Morris Angel and Son Limited known more familiarly as Angels The Costumiers.  We are a wholly owned subsidiary of Morris Angel and Son Limited trading as AsWornIn.com.

Can I checkout without registering with AsWornIn.com?

We need you to register so that we can track delivery and you will have a quicker checkout process.  If you opt out of the email service you will receive no further communications from AsWornIn.com.  Please see privacy policy below.

Is my information kept private?

At AsWornIn.com your details are kept confidential, we never sell any lists and never provide addresses or emails to any third party.  PayPal processes your payment information and AsWornIn.com has no access to this data.

What is AsWornIn.com's return Policy?

You may return any purchase made over the web to us subject to the following:

• Items must be returned within 14 days of purchase
• Items must be returned in there original condition with all certifcates and invoices
  

We do not refund shipping costs: it is your responsibility to return items to us; we recommend recorded delivery or Royal Mail special delivery.  AsWornIn.com cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods whilst they are being returned.

Refunds will be made to the card that was used in the original purchase or a cheque made payable to the cardholder if the card is no longer valid. In the case of cheque payment a cheque will be issued payable to the original customer You must follow our instructions for returning goods (see below)

How do I return items to AsWornIn? 

Before returning anything you must contact us and we will give you a Goods Returns Number. This number must be included with the returned items otherwise we will be unable to process them.

Include the delivery note or a copy of your email invoice with the goods. Send the goods in appropriate packaging.

Does AsWornIn buy Costumes and other props?
